Gennaro Regina inaugurates “IoMadreTerraDio” in Ischia

“IoMadreTerraDio” with a live performance
“IoMadreTerraDio” is the title of the painting exhibition that will be inaugurated by the artist Gennaro Regina at the Punta Molino Prison in Ischia , on September 23, 2019.
Built in the 13th century next to an old mill with a typical domed ceiling that still exists. It was expanded towards the end of the 19th century on two levels, with a porticoed area and a large garden facing the sea. Two large rooms were intended for prisoners (male and female sections). Unfortunately, all the prisoner registers were destroyed following a collapse of the attics. After careful renovation, due to its historical value and its particular location on the sea, the old prison is now the exclusive venue for conferences, exhibitions, events and concerts.
