Liquid thought in the magic and enchantment of Gennaro Regina's icons

Friday 13 December, Fatti d'Arte inaugurates the exhibition “Liquid thought in the magic and enchantment of Gennaro Regina's icons” , curated by Fatti d'Arte and Giovanni D'Alessandro, open from 13 to 17 December 2024 free entry in the spaces of the Frame Shop and Gallery of Gennaro Alterio and Rita Zunno .

The week preceding the fervent Christmas period is a splendid occasion to present his iconic works; the artistic figure is inextricably linked to Art Publishing and Antiques, the family business that has distinguished this surname since the second half of the nineteenth century.

Tomorrow the vernissage starting at 18:30, a convivial moment of meeting and dialogue, in the name of art and everything that revolves around it. The initiative is the result of a pleasant exchange that the Alterio-Zunno couple constantly cultivates with their customers and friends. Fatti d'Arte wants to become a point of reference for the city of Aversa not only for artists, but for all those who see art as a possibility of comfort and comparison.

Hosting Gennaro Regina means opening the doors to a wider audience that sees in his creations the expression of an ancient but at the same time contemporary and highly recognizable Naples, where the almost excessive use of colors gives life to surreal landscape representations.

Fatti d'Arte aims in this initiative, and through the works exhibited, to recall the material sensation of liquidity evoked by the artist's technique or simply the concept itself declared with the choice of proposing subjects such as Wine.

Regina flavours the Wine, like all her paintings, with the poignant love for her city, her territorial roots and her family history, expertly mixing colours, materials, techniques and ancient geographical maps, creating highly iconic and recognisable expressions without any possibility of error.

In addition to the works present, 15 numbered magnum bottles of Fiano di Avellino DOCG from the Donnachiara Montefalcione winery will be available for sale. The label features the work “Profumo DiVino, Aversa”, created for the occasion by the artist and whose proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

The accompanying tabloid of the exhibition is printed by Grafica Nappa and features the introduction of Giovanni D'Alessandro , curator of Fatti d'Arte. The graphic design is instead curated by Rita Zunno .
